Community Outreach
Young Engineers Association would not be here without the support of our community. To thank them, we want to give back as much as possible! We do this by giving presentations and demonstrations on why science, technology, engineering, and math are important parts of our society, and showing off the robot we have created. We have presented to middle school classrooms, 4H robotics clubs, spread the word about FIRST by handing out flyers and doing robot demos in our local mall, etc. Our team also participates in various community service projects. This helps us learn important values that we will use in our careers and everyday life. This 2014 season, we plan to continue giving back to the community by volunteering and spreading our love of science!
