Kickoff is Coming Up!

Hello Team 4293!

Big news this week, the national FRC Kickoff, and therefore the build season, is now only a few weeks away! Please read the full post, as we've got important kickoff information, directions, and super important information about meetings during the build season.




This year, we've organized an event at the Highlands Ranch Library on Saturday, January 4, to save you all a drive downtown.  We'll be meeting at 9:15 am at the Highlands Ranch Library (directions below) in the Shea A Community Room which is on the first floor, to the left, as you come in the front doors.  Please bring a few dollars for lunch as the meeting will run until 2 pm.  Please also bring a laptop if you have it, and once we're given the unlock code during kickoff you can download the rules.  

We're going to use this meeting to not only see kickoff, but to also do some brainstorming for this year's game.  Be ready to come up with creative ideas for this year!  

Speaking of this year's game, every year FIRST releases a clue as to the game's nature.  This year's clue is especially cryptic, saying only:

Directions to the Highlands Ranch Library:

The library's address is 9292 Ridgeline Blvd.  If you click the map to the left, it is linked to the Google map of the location.  Or, click here.  

Directions to the Shea B room: 

When you enter the library, turning to your left you should see the Children's department.  Farther left there is a hallway where the bathrooms are.  Go down the hallway and turn right.  At the end of this hallway are Shea A and Shea B, we will be in Shea A.

Additionally, we have finalized our schedule for build meetings this year!  We're looking at:

Tuesdays/Thursdays: 5 - 7 pm
Saturdays: 9 am - 2 pm

These meetings will occur every week for the six week build season, and more may be scheduled as needed.
