Community Outreach: National Robotics Week

Last Saturday, April 11th, Team Komodo joined Front Range BEST and the STEMc2 BEST Robotics Team at the Sheridan Library to celebrate National Robotics Week.  The event was an opportunity to inspire and educate students of all ages to pursue careers in robotics and to educate the public about how robotics technology impacts our society.  National Robotics Week also serves to recognize the US as a leader in robotics technology.  

The event was also a fundraiser for Front Range BEST, which is a new BEST Robotics Hub serving students in Douglas County and the South Metro area.  BEST Robotics is a high school and middle school robotics program which has no entry fee for teams and provides a 6 week build period to build a robot from a standardized kit.  Please visit the FR BEST website at www.frbest.org to learn more.
