Getting Signed In
|
In order to begin registration, students will first need to access STIMS. STIMS is found at https://my.usfirst.org/stims/site.lasso and will be used for registration. Please use an email you check regularily, as you will recieve a couple important emails during this process. Also, if you need to reset your password, it helps to have STIMS send the reset email to an email account you can access.
When you get on STIMS, you'll need to either log in or register. It is not necesary to read the "Before you get started" section. On another note, for the registration process, you will need to know our team number. Our team number is 4293, and our team name is a list of our sponsors, including the machine shop. Students, you will also need to indicate who your parent/guardian is. Once logged in or have created an account, you will see this screen. Check the indicated box and click continue. You should now be fully logged in. |
Updating Your Profile
When you log in, you should see something similar to what is to the left. If you are a returning student, it will be almost identical. Regardless of whether you are a new student or not, you should update your profile, even if it says complete. Simply make sure everything is in order.
Things like contact information are necesary for STIMS to register you. Its also helpful for our team mentors. |
The Registration Process for Team 4293
On the Main Summary page, you should see an area similar to this. Click on "Apply to FRC Team." Do NOT apply for an FTC team, Team Komodo is an FRC team.
You should be brought to this screen. We are team 4293. Imput that number where it says, "FRC Team Number." You should see the following. "Team Name" in STIMS is essentially a sponsor list. Click apply to team. After clicking "Apply to Team" you should see this screen. This will let you know that you've applied. Click Ok. When you go back to the Main Summary page, you should see that you have applied. When you have successfully registered, you should recieve an email similar to this one. Note: it says that your parent/guardian will have to fill out a consent form. This is correct, and we will cover this in the parent registration section. |
